great experience but needs cleanliness

The king suite offered spacious comfort, with a good rainforest view from the balcony. Happy hour included two refreshing drinks each night. The ease of snorkeling right off the beach opened up a world of marine exploration . I also appreciated the serene garden view which added to the overall tranquility.

The paths around the resort could benefit from some cleaning.

The location is great. A 50 minute boat trip from Cairns and you can snorkel in coral with turtles right off the beach. Staff are excellent. However coral was damaged and water visibility is still poor from the hurricane.

The beds are not great.The food is seriously sub-standard and charged at first class prices.

Fine location with a lovely beach! Snorkeling gear provided made for some excellent underwater adventures, and strolling around the island alone at night was good. Rooms were spacious and clean, perfect after a long day of fun.

The resort looked like it needed a good scrub. Bird poop everywhere! So much for five-star luxury-felt more like a bird sanctuary at breakfast!

Green Island is a small place with plenty to do. The resort is a very high standard, with beautiful rooms, friendly staff and superb food in a beautiful location. I'm actually very fussy, and a lot of places disappoint me, but I was very happy with my stay on GI. The room was pre-cooled, spotlessly clean, and not a hint of mustiness or hotel smell, despite the climate. The outstanding feature for me was the food. HIgh quality fresh ingredients prepared to perfection at reasonable prices.

Choosing for lunch Emeralds Restaurant, which is situated 500 feet away was a good idea. Patio added some charm: )

Too little 'private' hotel space: most of island and some hotel facilities 'taken over' by day visitors.

I stayed at the resorts and never wanted to leave. The facilities are nice.

The staff's warmth was notable throughout our stay, and we loved the sunset drinks by the pier. The large, comfortable room was a good retreat after a long day.

So far the best Hotel in our 4 weeks Australia Tour. Very good location, room design and service. The Reef Tour is a must!

The vibrant underwater world was captivating, and the inclusion of snorkeling gear made it easy to explore the coral reefs right from the beach. We especially enjoyed evening walks around the island when the day trippers left, allowing us a sense of tranquility amidst nature. The spacious King Suite provided a great view into the lush surroundings and the comfort needed for a good night's sleep. Dining at the resort was a treat, especially the experience of watching the sunset while enjoying a picnic dinner on the beach.

Fantastic location and very friendly and helpful staff. Reef right at resort, so you can snorkle without having to go further out to reef.

The Twin Suite was spacious, while the dining options were surprisingly disappointing.
